We were up at 4.30 and with it now approaching 5.30am, we're almost ready for the journey. I've also managed to cram enough clothes, bags, bits and pieces, cans of food (since the wife thinks there are no shops in Cornwall) - if the boot opens then we're doomed.
Its impossible to get anything more in the car, footwells, anything - it's rammed - much to my protestations that we're only actually going for 9 nights. There's even enough food and drink en-route to feed a small army never mind us two and the two kids.
Ah well, let's hope the weather & traffic are ok.
