Feeling like crap

Its a sunny day, all is generally well, but I feel like crap today. I don't know if it's a reaction to the food I ate last evening, a bug from the kids (when you have kids, you tend to get what's doing the rounds at school) or a reaction to upping my diabetes medication (a side-effect is upset stomach).

Anyway, I slept like I had a couple of housebricks floating around my stomach and it's safe to say they were removed (rather quickly) this morning - I should be relieved, but if anything I feel worse. I'll see how I feel after walking the kids to school to see if I will go into the office today.

We had a good trip out yesterday and even experience a rare thing; sun in Manchester! We also ran into some old mates; Jon Oldham, Bear and Mike Delves and enjoyed a drink outside Dukes pub near the old Ocean building and where Acclaim Manchester used to be. Unlike many previous "little drinks" with Mr Oldham, this one was relatively short and sweet - since we all had things to do and places to be. Jon is leaving for france to live next month and we'll be at his leaving do - which will probably get very messy. I was reminded yesterday that there's photos from his 40th where me and bear are "wearing" naan breads.
