After the black arm-bands that followed the closure of the Lion confectionary factory in Cleckheaton a year or so back and the "new style" Midget Gems were released to the stores, it seems all is not lost.
Such is the backlash over the frankly terrible and a disgusting insults to the memory of my favourite gummy friends, it seems that the original mixture and methods are being made and the originals are being re-launched again.
It's just typical I go and get diabetes to prevent me from over-indulging.
Anyway, it's great to hear they're back - I'll always have a soft spot for them :) Proper Yorkshire sweets and no mistake.
