The things people write.

I was quite bemused earlier, when, as I sometimes do, I was reading a few comments made about what we are working on. I found it quite funny that one forum (actually an audio-visual forum of all places) was grumbling that we're working on the new Leisuresuit Larry game to the detriment of everything else.

In truth we work on 2, 3, 4 or sometimes more titles all at the same time, with news about them seeping out when the timing is right or a publishing partner feels it's right.

For the record we are working on a range of titles on next-gen, Wii, PSP, DS and the digital platforms for XBLA and PSN - and have been using the Unreal3 tech for about 3yrs too... Of those, only Larry is publically known right now... there will be more news on some of the other stuff, most likely towards the end of the summer.

Am off to Sweden (Malmo) on Tuesday as a guest of Nordic Game, for the Nordic Game conference. I'm participating in a talk with a bunch of indies and publishers (Microsoft, Capcom, Epic etc) and discussing the business behind pitches and dealing with publishers.

The Nordic group (encompassing Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Icelandic developers) are always great value and we have roots there going way back to the Amiga demo-days :) It'll be great to see some old and familiar faces again.
