Wii bowls me over (and everyone else)

A second successful outing for Wii Bowling as everyone is left in the shade by my two neices (aged 9 and 6!) as they managed to score 210 and 203 respectively, leaving everyone in their wake (and Jack cussing at their smugness) with Abigail getting a 6-pack (six strikes on the bounce). Again there was universal thumbs up for the console and it's ability to appeal to all - this is perhaps the first mass-market console ever made. I'm still way behind the scores my wife can achieve, perhaps I'm thinking too much about strategies, angles and all that...

I'd like to blame the fact that I'm full of cold/sinusitis but it's probably because I'm just old and crap. The kids once more took the opportunity of making Mii's for everyone and taking the piss.

Hopefully a quiet night tonight and a chance to relax and get some energy back before we have a do next week.

Could be a conspiracy where the games favour people whom you wouldn't expect to be winning. Even if not, it sounds like video games are well on the up!

Nah, that conspiracy falls down. If it worked, Martyn would be winning all the time...

You see that I have enormous capacity to have fun, win or lose. The fact that I'm knocking on and you resort to remembering past glories is a sign of your own age meandering it's own weary way.
